The focus of Avon Lake Youth Cheer /  Cheer / Cheer Camps is to introduce children Grades 1st & 2nd / Grades 3rd & 4th to the basics of sideline cheer in a fun and safe environment. 
Note: You do Not have to be a resident of Avon Lake to participate

Megan's Bio:
Hi! My name is Megan Miller and I will be your child’s cheerleading coach!  I am a former Avon Lake Varsity Football Cheerleader and cheered for 6 years and competed with the Avon Lake cheerleading squad.  During the day, I am a preschool teacher at Redwood Elementary school. In my freetime, I enjoy being with my family, my dog, and camping in Marblehead.  I am looking forward to getting to know your child! I am excited to introduce them to the concepts of cheer, the value of teamwork and the positive impact it has on our community. 
Participants will learn the following:

• Fundamentals of Stretching
• Motions
• Motion placement
• Voice Projection
• Jumps
• Teamwork
• Following Directions

Sessions:

Fall I / 2024
Tuesdays Classes / 4:00pm - 5:00pm
September - 10th - October 8th,

*We will be marching in the Avon Lake Homecoming Parade on Saturday September 21st at 10am.
**We will be cheering at a Learwood Middle School Football game on either Tuesday October 1st or 8th. More details to follow

*A minimum of 7 children is needed to begin a class

Enrollment: Minimum needed is 7 participants for a class  

Cost: $75 for the session

Spirit Wear Fees / One time fee:

Total Costs $67 (Spirit Wear - Poms) plus $75 for the class = $142.
